Biographie
Flamure Ibrahimi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, specializing in Information Management, and a Master's degree in Digital Transformation and Corporate Immersion from the University of Namur. During her studies, she completed a two-year internship at GSK in Wavre, where she led digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives supporting the global distribution of vaccines, contributing to projects with worldwide societal impact.
After graduating with great distinction, Flamure began her academic career as a Teaching Assistant and PhD Researcher at the University of Namur. She is currently conducting research at the internationally recognized NaDI-CeRCLe Research Center in Services and Marketing Management, with her thesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Wafa Hammedi (University of Namur) and Prof. Dr. Linda Alkire (Texas State University). Her doctoral research is grounded in Transformative Service Research and focuses on service ethics and corruption in frontline service interactions, particularly their implications for vulnerable and underserved populations.
Her work examines corruption not only as a legal or structural issue, but also as an interactional and processual phenomenon unfolding within everyday service encounters. Through her current research, co-authored with Wafa Hammedi, Linda Alkire, and Gazi Islam, she aims to advance understanding of how corruption reshapes frontline service dynamics, well-being, access, dignity, and societal equity within service ecosystems.
Shaped by a strong sensitivity to issues of vulnerability, fairness, and social inclusion, Flamure developed an early awareness of the central role service systems play in shaping people’s access to rights, recognition, and well-being. Deeply committed to societal impact, she has been actively involved in volunteer work since childhood, supporting child welfare (Child Focus), refugee inclusion (refugee camps in Serbia), and poverty alleviation initiatives (Oxfam). These experiences continue to inform her research ambition to bridge service research, technology, ethics, and societal transformation in order to contribute to more equitable and human-centered service systems.
