Biography

Marvyn teaches across several faculties and departments at the University of Namur. He contributes to the instruction of mathematics, physics, and computer science, with particular attention to the transmission of fundamental concepts, pedagogical support, and the structuring of learning in interdisciplinary contexts.

He earned his PhD in Sciences in 2023, specializing in dynamical systems, artificial neural networks, reservoir computing, and Koopman operator analysis. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (UNamur, 2014), a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (UNamur, 2015), a Master’s degree in Physics (ULB, 2017), and a Teaching Certification for Upper Secondary Education (UNamur, 2021), reflecting a strong multidisciplinary foundation at the intersection of applied mathematics, physics, and artificial intelligence.

Today, Marvyn focuses on teaching and pedagogical support as a member of several faculties:

  • Faculty of Computer Science
  • Faculty of Sciences
  • Faculty of Economics Management Communication Politics (EMCP)

Alongside his didactic responsibilities, he cultivates a passion for full‑stack web development, which he explores through personal projects and technical experimentation.
