The SRI administers the agreements that UNamur has established with over 200 institutions. It acts as an institutional respondent in the development of a framework agreement or a more specific agreement with a partner institution. The SRI manages IN & OUT mobility for students, teachers, researchers and other staff.

In addition to supporting UNamur members in exploiting the opportunities for mobility and international collaboration offered by regional, national, bilateral and European programs, the SRI is also intended as a lever to assist Faculties and faculty mobility managers to ensure greater openness to the world on campus.

The promotion of teaching and research in the context of development cooperation takes a specific place in the activities of the SRI. Finally, the SRI is responsible for maintaining the links created by UNamur's membership of various university networks, as well as institutional relations with the various diplomatic representations in Belgium.
