The SRI administers the agreements that UNamur has established with more than 200 institutions. It acts as the institutional liaison in the development of a framework agreement or a more specific agreement with a partner institution. The SRI manages the incoming and outgoing mobility of students, faculty, researchers, and other staff members. 

In addition to supporting UNamur members so they can take advantage of the mobility and international collaboration opportunities offered by regional, national, bilateral, and European programs, the SRI also aims to serve as a catalyst to assist the faculties and faculty mobility coordinators in fostering greater openness to the world on campus. 

The promotion of teaching and research within the framework of development cooperation plays a specific role in the SRI’s activities. Finally, the SRI is responsible for maintaining the ties forged through UNamur’s membership in various university networks, as well as institutional relations with the various diplomatic missions in Belgium.
