• Master various methods for spatial data analysis in vector and raster format
• Use basic spatial data analysis tools
Acquire a knowledge of the GIS vocabulary and a global view of the possibilities offered by GIS in terms of acquisition, storage and analysis of spatial data, especially through different examples of GIS projects.
Content of exercices:
The theoretical course is accompanied by practical sessions in a computer lab (QGIS software).
Written exam (theory; 40% of final mark) and practical exam on a computer (60% of final mark).
The evaluation is similar for the second session.
Theory and practice are two separate learning activities (LA). Students who fail one LA must retake both LAs during the following academic year.
