- Learn to read and communicate in at least one language other than French. - To develop complementary knowledge to history.
The student will be introduced to the specificities of the medieval Latin language through the level I course (LHISB202) and will be able to translate texts of normal difficulty, chosen from the main categories of Latin sources of the Middle Ages, with a view to their historical exploitation. To this end, he/she will be required to continue learning the basic vocabulary begun in Level I (approximately 500 additional words), with regular questioning.
Translation of a range of texts throughout the year.
At least one teaching unit among:
Reading of texts.
Written or oral exam + tests on the mastery of basic vocabulary.
