Admission to medical and veterinary medicine programs is contingent, in particular, on achieving a qualifying rank in the single entrance exam for all universities in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. For other admission requirements, please visit the "Bachelor of Medicine" or "Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine" page on the Admissions Office website.

Starting in November 2026, UNamur will offer preparatory courses that allow you to:

  • review the content of the subjects included in the exam syllabus;
  • practice the multiple-choice questions required for the entrance exam;
  • get a feel for the exam experience.

Three sessions

The 2026–2027 Winter Session

This session spans 17 Saturdays from November 2026 to May 2027, comprising 100 hours of instruction to be taken in person or remotely.  This course aims to review all scientific subjects—mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology—and to prepare students for the “Communication and Critical Analysis of Information” section.

For each scientific discipline, a complete syllabus is provided at the beginning of the session. For the second part, materials are available on the platform.

The classes are structured in two parts.  First, a brief review of the theoretical concepts you will have been asked to review the week before the session, followed by numerous exercises in the form of multiple-choice questions, corrected and annotated by the professors, which will help you develop speed and in-depth thinking.

Online registration begins July 1, 2026

Registration is available exclusively online starting July 1, 2026.

The session can be taken

  • in person
  • or remotely (live or on-demand).

The registration fee is €160 and includes participation in classes, course materials, and access to the platform.

Information Session

On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 27, 2026, an information session on the program and the methodology implemented for the various disciplines will be held in person and remotely.  Syllabi will be available at this session and, starting on that date, at the Student Information Office during its regular hours. They will also be distributed on the first Saturday of classes at the entrance to the lecture hall (Saturday, November 7, 2026).

The 2027 Summer Session

This session, scheduled for June 28 through July 8, 2027, consists of 54 hours of instruction, which can be taken in person or remotely.  This course is dedicated exclusively to solving practice problems across all disciplines based on the subjects included in the entrance exam syllabus (including Part 2). While the classes certainly help reinforce mastery of the subjects, their primary goal is to enable students to apply their knowledge to solving multiple-choice questions, particularly through a detailed analysis of how the questions are constructed: the structure of the question stem, the choice of distractors, etc. The session includes a session on strategies for multiple-choice exams.

Online registration begins March 1, 2027

Registration is available exclusively online starting March 1, 2027.

The course can be taken

  • in person
  • or remotely (live or on-demand)

The registration fee is €100 (+€40 for the syllabus if you did not purchase it during the winter session).

The August 2027 session

This session is held exclusively online from the end of the summer term until the day of the exam. This course allows you to wrap up your preparation with numerous practice exercises in the form of mock tests.

Each test includes about fifteen original multiple-choice questions covering the entire subject matter.

At the end of the test, you will see your score and, for each question, an answer key explaining how to answer it.

Online registration begins June 1, 2027

Registration is available exclusively online starting June 1, 2027.

Registration fees range from €5 to €15 depending on the subject.

Two practice exams

concours médecine

On Saturday, May 22, 2027, a mock exam will be held.  The purpose of this is to allow you to test your knowledge of the various subjects and to experience the exam under conditions similar to those in Brussels in August 2027. If you are interested, you will be asked to register separately in due course.

On Friday, July 9, 2027, a mock exam will be held. This mock exam will differ from the one on May 22.  Its purpose is to allow you to assess your progress in your preparation a few weeks before the deadline and to experience the exam under conditions similar to those in Brussels in August 2027. If you are interested, you will be asked to register separately in due course.
