Learning outcomes

The intended learning outcomes are as follows:

  • Mastery of bibliographic research tools in the fields of languages and literature (databases, reference management software, etc.)

  • Reasoned and responsible use of artificial intelligence tools

  • The ability to appropriately identify and define a research topic

  • The ability to frame a research question and establish the structure of a scholarly writing project (article format)

  • The ability to write in a manner consistent with the scholarly stance required for such work

Goals

The main objective of the course is to prepare students for and introduce them to the final research project (TFC):

  • bibliographic research, reference storage and management, bibliography formatting

  • the definition and description of a research topic

  • academic writing

  • preparation for the oral presentation
