Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will have acquired a basic understanding of decision psychology, particularly Kahneman’s model, and will be able to view these concepts critically.

Goals

  • Acquire some basic knowledge of decision psychology, particularly Kahneman's model.

  • Learn how to apply this knowledge critically.

Content

The primary aim of this course is to develop a critical understanding of how decisions are made.

It is based primarily on work in cognitive psychology and behavioural economics, in particular:
