Introduce the students to the notions of Physical Chemistry in order to learn and understand: · The relationships between the structure of matter and its different properties, · The conditions in which any physical and/or chemical transformations can take place.
At the end of the Teaching Unit, students will be able to:
• Rigorously present the formalisms (and demonstrations) of the course, explain their meaning (contextualize them) and specify their conditions of validity;
• Solve problems similar to those treated during the course;
• Interpret and/or produce any schema and diagram discussed/detailed during the course;
Thermodynamique (thermodynamics) [SPHYB205]
The examen covers all the material.
It is divided into two parts: a written examen and an oral one.
These two parts are independent of each other.
The written part, which lasts between 2 and 3 hours, consists of a series of questions (3 to 5) covering the different chapters of the course material.
The oral part, which lasts approximately 10 minutes, consists of two questions randomly selected from a list covering the entire course material.
Depending on the number of students, the oral part may take place during the written examination.
