My choice of UNamur

I was attracted not only by the wide variety of study sections on offer, but also by the campus, which appealed to me straight away. Its size, family feel and location in the heart of the city make it an ideal setting in which to study.

My studies in geography

Geography is at the intersection of the natural and social sciences. It encompasses many fields (such as economics, ecology, geology...) and opens up opportunities in a wide variety of sectors: renewable energies, regional planning, geopolitics, migration, health, climate change, natural risk management...

My extra-academic activities

For the past three years, I've been part of the Revue Sciences, first as an actress, then as an actor delegate and soon as president. It's the perfect way to set up a project, meet people from your faculty and, above all, have fun! Behind the comedy show, the Revue also develops many skills: sets, lighting, editing, communication, acting...

My mission as a student ambassador

Being a student ambassador is an opportunity for me to get involved in my first rewarding professional experience, while continuing my studies with peace of mind. It's also an opportunity to advise future students and introduce them to geography studies. My role is to be a link between high school students and the university: we represent UNamur while giving a close and accessible image of student life.

My advice to future students

Attend lectures and take notes, it's the first step to assimilating the material and avoiding being lost during the blockade. But there's no need to lock yourself into your studies either: university is the perfect time for new experiences and bonding.

Summing up

Studying at UNamur is family-oriented, fun and always in a good atmosphere.
