My favorite: UNamur
My older sister was already a student at UNamur when I was considering my choice of studies and university. She told me about it so enthusiastically that I wanted to discover the place for myself. My participation in the open courses then confirmed my choice: I found the university and the town of Namur very welcoming. Everything made me want to study there.
My discovery of geology
At first, I thought I'd go for chemistry or physics, two subjects I loved in secondary school. But at a SIEP fair, I discovered geology: a course of study that combines several sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, math) while being oriented towards nature and fieldwork. Geology courses are of high quality and taught by passionate teachers.

My role as a student ambassador
I wanted to become a geology student ambassador to help future students make the right choices. By sharing what we're passionate about in our studies, answering their questions and giving them a glimpse into our daily lives, we can really help them better project themselves.
My good plans in Namur
I highly recommend the Belfry gallery, which is free and open to all, the Citadelle of course, and also plays at the Delta or the Théâtre de Namur, which are at affordable rates for students.
My advice to a future student
Even if you're not sure, go for it. If it works, great. If it doesn't work out so well, it's never a waste of time: you'll have tried and learned.
In a nutshell
For me, studying at UNamur is much more than just taking classes: it's about making the most of student life, discovering the city and its riches, and taking the time to get to know each other better. It's also about creating a future while having fun, in a human-scale environment where it's good to learn and exchange.
