Pharmacy studies at UNamur
The Department of Pharmacy organizes the teaching of the bachelor's degree in pharmacy and participates in the training of biology students. It is responsible for training leading to the doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences, and teaches introduction to pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, pharmaceutical analysis and medicinal chemistry. In collaboration with the Société scientifique des pharmaciens francophones, the department plays an important role in the continuing education of pharmacists..

Pharmaceutical research
Research areas focus on the design, chemical synthesis and biological evaluation of molecules of therapeutic interest. Interest is also focused on the physicochemical properties of new compounds.Other research entities belonging to the Faculty of Medicine are cross-disciplinary and also rely on collaboration with UCL Godinne University Hospital within the Namur Institute for Life Sciences (Narilis) research institute.
