The IRDENa institute invites its members and guests to present the status of their research in teaching and education on topical issues throughout the year.These seminars are held once a month, usually during lunchtime. The three Belgian scientific experiments selected to be carried out on board the International Space Station (ISS) during astronaut Raphaël Liégeois' mission in 2026 have just been unveiled by the Federal Science Policy Public Service (Belspo). One of them is carried by a team from UNamur for an experiment at the crossroads of biology and physics aimed at analyzing the resistance of the "blob", an atypical unicellular organism.

Sustainably promoting gender equality in scientific and academic careersSupported by UMONS and UNamur, ISALA NOVA is a pilot action-research project aimed at profoundly transforming academic institutions to promote gender equality. Supported by the Sakura Fund of the Foundation for Future Generations, it relies on collective collaboration to rethink scientific and academic careers from a gender equality perspective. Our training center offers a wide range of training courses for teaching and support professionals.The training courses we offer are created on the basis of emerging needs in the field, our research findings and recent scientific literature updating promising practices for professionals.

Context Through its employment unit, UNamur offers a service to help with integration and career guidance in the way of group training and individual support. UNamur has also set up a career centre platform to facilitate the search for internships, jobs or training courses related to professional integration. These activities involve the processing of personal data.
