Research evaluation: university players meet at UNamur

On May 22, 2025, UNamur was pleased to host the restitution event of the FWB/CoARA inter-university project. This project, which began in early 2024, brought together Belgium's five French-speaking university institutions for fifteen months with the aim of developing tools, evaluation and recognition processes for research and researchers in line with the principles of the CoARA charter, signed by the universities of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, between September 2022 and October 2023.

The Department of Physics welcomes a delegation from CERN

When UNamur told its story in postcards

The Moretus Plantin University Library (BUMP) at UNamur preserves a collection of several thousand postcards within its precious reserve. This remarkable collection offers an original insight into the daily life of the people of Namur in the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of these cards show the Faculties as they looked almost a century ago, and illustrate the teaching and research activities that were carried out there at the time.
