Preparatory courses allow prospective medical and veterinary students to prepare for the entrance exam, and enable all other students to get a taste of university-level education by reviewing the subjects essential to their future studies.
Intended exclusively for students completing high school (first-year students), these preparatory courses are tailored to each university program.
For prospective medical and veterinary students
Are you finishing high school and interested in pursuing a degree in medicine or veterinary medicine? Admission to these bachelor’s programs is contingent upon a single entrance exam for all universities in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The University of Namur offers preparatory courses specifically designed to help students prepare for this exam.
Pour les futurs étudiants en médecine vétérinaire
Vous terminez vos études secondaires en 2026 et vous souhaitez commencer des études en médecine vétérinaire ? L'UNamur propose des cours préparatoires du 17 au 28 août 2026 pour découvrir l'enseignement universitaire en révisant les matières indispensables à votre future formation.
À partir de 2027, l'accès sera soumis à un concours d'entrée. L'UNamur organise des cours préparatoires spécifiques à ce concours d'entrée.
For all other students
In late August and early September, several preparatory course sessions are organized based on your field of study. These sessions are designed to cover the basic concepts you need to successfully tackle your upcoming bachelor’s degree. They will also give you the opportunity to get to know the University of Namur campus and meet students who have chosen the same program as you.
