The “MIORS” Certificate in Innovative Management of Healthcare Organizations and Networks takes place on Thursday evenings via distance learning and all day on Fridays in person.

What are the enrollment requirements?

Do you hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement)? 

Are you currently working within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation? 

Do you already work for an organization in the CARE sector? In other words, hospitals, nursing homes or long-term care facilities, medical-educational institutions, home care services, professional associations representing the sector, support and care networks… 

Do you hold a position in the CARE sector? Are you a member of an executive or medical committee, a department head, a service head (medical, nursing, or support), a team leader, or a team coordinator…? 

Do you meet all of these criteria and are you interested?
This certificate is for you! 

How much does this training course cost?

This continuing education course costs €3,000. 

Where is the program held?

At UNamur for the in-person modules. At the Faculty of Economics, Management, Communication, and Political Science, located at Rempart de la Vierge 8 in Namur. Some activities, particularly those on Thursday evenings, are conducted remotely. 

What are the requirements for obtaining the MIORS certificate? 

At the end of the 6-month program, you will complete an individual final project. While working on this project, you will receive both individual and group support from the various instructors. 

Who are the partner members of our network? 

Our MIORS program is supported by a broad network of partners. Indeed, we collaborate with numerous universities and colleges, such as the University of Namur, Hénallux, Unessa, and the Catholic University of Louvain. Healthcare institutions have also joined the project, including the Sambre and Meuse Regional Hospital Center, the UCL Namur University Hospital Center (CHU UCL Namur), and the Saint-Luc Clinic in Bouge. Finally, FormaNam, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and the Walloon Region also support the MIORS certificate.

Caroline Del Zotto 

Caroline Del Zotto initially received her training in the healthcare sector at Henallux and HEPN. She then began her career as a clinical instructor in the hospital setting at Henallux. At the same time, she worked as a nurse at the CHR Sambre et Meuse. It was at this hospital that she rose through the ranks to become Director of Nursing. Before assuming this position, Caroline earned a certificate in Innovative Management of Healthcare Organizations and Networks, followed by a master’s degree in public health, administration, and management of hospitals and healthcare facilities. In addition to her duties as director, Caroline is also a member of the steering committee for the MIORS certificate program and a guest lecturer at the Provincial Institute for Social Advancement and Continuing Education.

Carole Moureaux 

Carole Moureaux is currently the Assistant Director of the Department of Nursing, Paramedical Care, and Related Services at the Clinique Saint-Luc in Bouge. Carole studied nursing at HEPN and Henallux. She then began her career as a nurse at Clinique Saint-Luc in Bouge. Alongside her professional development, she furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in Public Health Sciences at UCLouvain, as well as an interuniversity certificate in health simulation from the University of Liège. 

Mélanie Latiers 

Mélanie Latiers brings essential organizational expertise to this certificate program. She completed her undergraduate and doctoral studies in Economics and Management at UNamur. While writing her dissertation, Mélanie served as a teaching and research assistant at UNamur. Her academic career then began as an associate professor at UCLouvain and UNamur, as well as a senior teaching assistant in Engineering and Social Action at HELHa, the Cardijn Institute, and Henallux. Currently, she is also a Project Director at Orchis Recherches & Action-Formation, while continuing her academic duties. 

Fabian Dehanne

After earning his nursing degree from ISEI, Fabian Dehanne continued his studies with a master’s degree in Public Health at ULiège. Once he completed his master’s degree, he worked as a coordinator for the Tockem association in Cameroon. Upon his return, he furthered his education with a master’s degree in Healthcare Facility Management and various certificates in Strategic Thinking (UCLouvain), Health Economics (ULB), and Innovation Management (Louvain School of Management). He is currently a General Management Consultant and Head of the Projects, Quality, and Performance Department, while also serving as a lecturer in eco-management at UNamur and UCLouvain. He has also just completed his Ph.D. in Public Health. 

Fabienne Liesse

Fabienne Liesse is the director of continuing education in the paramedical sector and in the health and social services fields at Henallux. She is also the director of the Morocco Country Group. Before taking on these roles, Fabienne studied nursing at ISEI and earned a master’s degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, and Management from UCLouvain. Her professional career began as an emergency room nurse at the Clinique Saint-Pierre in Ottignies. In addition to her various academic degrees, Fabienne also holds a certificate in wound care and healing from UCLouvain. 

 Aline Hotterbeex

After earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from HEPL and a master’s degree in Health Sciences from ULiège, Aline Hotterbeex began working as a researcher at ULiège. She then worked as a nurse before becoming department head at ISoSL. She then served as a healthcare manager in the internal medicine department at the CHC in Liège and earned a certification in business management and nursing home administration from the IFA PME in Liège. She is currently the head of the health division at the non-profit organization UNESSA.
