Project Objectives

CAPACITI aims to promote children’s active participation and inclusion in the defense and exercise of their rights within the Greater Region. It brings together partners from various disciplines: education, the social sciences, psychology, medicine, and law.

The project seeks to involve children and (future) professionals who work with them in order to gather their perspectives, knowledge, and needs; develop recommendations; and establish strategies for raising awareness and providing training on the effective respect for children’s rights.

Engaging materials will be created to reach young people, with the goal of increasing their awareness of their rights and empowering them to take action.

Specific Objectives of the Project

Upon completion, the CAPACITI project aims to produce educational games for children, such as interactive stories and serious games. In addition, training programs will be developed for (future) professionals and will take the form of digital tools such as webinars and short videos.

These resources will be incorporated into the cross-border center for interdisciplinary expertise created by the project’s various partners. This center will play a key role in the Greater Region by making a lasting contribution to the dissemination of best practices regarding children’s rights.
