Refresher course in Dutch (level B1)

Continuous assessment, assignments to be completed during the semseter.

The final grade will be calculated as follows:

• Active participation in class, presentations, and homework: 30%

• Portfolio: 10%

• Oral evaluation: 60%

Absence or a mere attendance mark for any part of the examination or continuous assessment will result in an absence or an attendance mark for the assessment as a whole.

The use of AI is strictly prohibited, both when preparing the assignments (e.g., writing a presentation script) and during the examination. The use of AI or any other unauthorized tool will automatically result in a failing grade (0/20).

For the second examination session, a student who obtained a final grade below 10/20 in January will have to retake the part(s) for which their grade is below 10/20.

As in January, absence or a mere attendance mark for any one of the parts will result in an absence or an attendance mark for the assessment as a whole.

In the event of another failure, the student will have to retake the entire examination the following academic year; there will be no partial exemption (carrying over of grades) from one academic year to the next.

Important note: Passing this course unit is not certificative, meaning that it does not certify that the student has achieved any particular level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
