Hellen Videa Dubón
About
Biography
Hellen Videa obtained her BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona in 2018 and 2019, respectively. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Huelva in 2025 under the supervision of Antonio J. Martínez-Martínez. Her doctoral research focused on low-valent aluminium and gallium bimetallic systems for small-molecule and C–H bond activation. She subsequently continued in the same group as a postdoctoral researcher, investigating the self-assembly and host–guest chemistry of main-group-metal coordination cages.
She has recently joined to Prof. Guillaume Berionni’s group at the University of Namur as a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the coordination of ammonia and ammonia surrogates with boron Lewis acids and superacids in the B-YOND research project that addresses important challenges in the quest for a more sustainable future.
