I chose to study at UNamur primarily because of its setting: Namur is a beautiful and welcoming city on a human scale, where you quickly feel at home.
I’ve always been passionate about biology, so I decided to pursue this field without having a very clear idea of my future at first. As I’ve taken more courses, I’ve discovered areas that interest me, and that’s helping me today to better define my plans for the future.
What motivates me in my role as a student ambassador is representing the university and showing that biology is a field with a bright future. I enjoy reassuring prospective students, explaining to them in concrete terms what we study and what the academic experience is like here.
If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be not to stress too much about the future: even at the end of your bachelor’s degree, you might still be unsure about what comes next, and that’s normal.
Finally, what I particularly appreciate about UNamur is the sense of community: with the professors, with other students… and with a city that’s a great place to live. One place I highly recommend visiting is the Citadel of Namur!
