To help you test your knowledge of the various subjects and get a feel for the actual exam, UNamur invites you to participate in mock exams on Saturday, May 30, 2026, and/or Friday, July 10, 2026.This mock exam has been designed by faculty members who are thoroughly familiar with the types of questions asked in the actual admissions exam. However, this does not mean that this mock exam will be an exact representation of the 2026 admissions exam!This mock exam allows you to: to experience the exam under conditions similar to those in Brussels in August 2026;to assess your progress in preparation a few months or weeks before the exam date. This mock exam goes beyond simply taking the test. Through a group review session with the teachers, you’ll be able to identify your mistakes and see your success rate for each question.

The research landscape at the University of Namur currently comprises 11 Institutes. They bring together and cross-fertilize diverse skills around a global theme. This dynamic encourages transdisciplinary collaborations and original approaches in both research and teaching.

The aim of the University of Namur's sports project is to encourage students to develop and perfect their skills in one or more disciplines. More than twenty sports are organized from Monday to Friday on campus and in the surrounding area. A wide variety of sports are on offer. A fitness room is also available.

Any student enrolled in a higher education institution in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is entitled to apply for a student grant from the Student Grants Office (DAE), and any student enrolled at UNamur may also apply for financial aid offered by the VéCU Student Welfare Office, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.Starting with the 2026 academic year, several tuition fee levels are available, depending on your socioeconomic situation: €0 for students recognized as scholarship recipients by the FWB a reduced tuition fee of 374 € for students recognized by the FWB as being of modest means a reduced amount of 835 € for students recognized by the FWB as being of intermediate means the full amount of 1,194 € (plus, for students who are non-EU nationals, a possible additional contribution of 4,175 €) 

What happens when AI knows a great deal about you? This fifth session of the “What If AI?” series explores the profiling and data collection mechanisms that enable artificial intelligence systems to predict behaviors, preferences, and decisions.Drawing on well-known examples such as the Cambridge Analytica scandal, the speakers will highlight the issues of surveillance, manipulation, and personalization. This session aims to encourage critical reflection on our tolerance for profiling and to provide tools for better protecting our privacy in an increasingly data-driven world. Is artificial intelligence reliable? Can it make up information without us realizing it? This second session in the “What If AI?” series sheds light on the phenomenon of AI “hallucinations”—errors that can sometimes seem credible and may have significant consequences, particularly in professional settings.Drawing on real-world examples, such as reports containing false references, the speakers will explain why these errors occur, what their technical causes are, and how to detect them. An interactive activity will invite the audience to distinguish between true and false information in AI-generated responses, while exploring the limitations of solutions such as prompt engineering.The goal: to develop a critical perspective on AI responses and gain a better understanding of its limitations.
