Quality policy
Anchored in the Walloon capital, the University of Namur puts people at the heart of its priorities. This human dimension is the link that transcends the values inherited from the Jesuit tradition: openness, excellence, sustainability and freedom.

Organizational Structure of the UNamur School of Management (UNSM)
Governing Bodies The “Council” is the Department’s decision-making body. It is chaired by the Department Director, who serves as an academic member elected for a three-year term. The Director sets the agenda, ensures that decisions made by the Council are implemented, and represents the Department in the various bodies of the Faculty and the Institution. All academic members of the Department are ex officio members of the Council. Other groups (research staff, administrative staff, and students) are represented by members elected for a one-year term. At the initiative of a Council member, depending on the items to be discussed, individuals from outside the Department may be invited. The “Restricted Council” consists solely of the academic members of the Council. The Council and the Restricted Council typically meet with the same frequency as the Faculty Executive Committees and Councils. Program DirectorsThe Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are managed by the Program Directors (one for the Bachelor’s in Economics and Management and the Master’s in Management Sciences, and the other for the Bachelor’s in Management Engineering and the Master’s in Management Engineering). Program Directors are appointed by the Department Chair for a three-year term. Among other responsibilities, they oversee the approval of students’ annual study plans (PAE) as well as admissions.Program Director for the Bachelor’s in Economics and Management and the Master’s in Management Sciences: Michel AjzenProgram Director for the Bachelor of Management Engineering and the Master’s in Management Engineering: Anthony Simonofski Thematic CoordinationEach teaching theme is coordinated by an academic expert in the field. Mobility for all
Inclusion is one of the priorities of the Erasmus+ program in the 2021-2027 programming period. It is understood as the program's ability to promote diversity in all its forms as a valuable source of learning, both by funding projects that put inclusion at the heart of their activities and by facilitating access to mobilities for people with fewer opportunities. Participants with fewer opportunities (AMO) can benefit from mobility formats, as well as specific financial support under the Erasmus+ program.
