Prep Courses for Competitive Exams - Summer Session
This session, held from June 29 to July 9, 2026, is devoted exclusively to working through exercises in all subjects based on the topics covered in the entrance exam curriculum. A forum allows you to ask the instructors any questions you may have, and a wide range of content and tools (additional exercises, explanatory videos, tests, answer keys, etc.) gives you the opportunity to review different parts of the material on your own and continue your preparation right up until the day of the exam. Which track should you choose based on your profile?
Are you interested in teaching biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, or economics in grades 4, 5, and 6 of secondary school?There are two possible paths depending on your degree: Do you have a bachelor’s degree in one of these disciplines (or a related field)?UNamur offers the Master’s in Education, Track 4 (120 credits), a comprehensive program designed to train you in the many facets of the teaching profession. Do you already hold a master’s degree in one of these disciplines (or a related field)?UNamur offers the Master’s in Education, Track 5 (60 credits), a specialized program that allows you to leverage your subject-area expertise in the classroom.
120-credit Master's Programs in Education, Section 4
Do you hold a subject-specific bachelor’s degree and wish to train to teach at the upper secondary level?UNamur offers 120-credit master’s programs in education (Section 4) in several fields, allowing you to supplement your subject-specific degree with teacher training. UNamur is the lead institution for these programs, which are offered as joint degree programs with Hénallux. The Master’s in Music Education (Section 4) is also offered as a joint degree program with IMEP.

The University has three university residences. One is for boys only (RUE), another is for girls (RUEE), and the third is mixed (Le Carmel). Students staying at the RUE or RUEE benefit from supervision by educators.

The University of Namur organizes or participates in several information evenings on higher education for students at the end of secondary school. During these evenings, students and parents have the opportunity to take part in two information hubs led by professors from the University of Namur and/or UCLouvain and representatives from Hautes Ecoles.

Prep courses for the entrance exam – next year
Admission to medical and veterinary medicine programs is contingent, in particular, on achieving a qualifying rank in the single entrance exam for all universities in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. For other admission requirements, please visit the "Bachelor of Medicine" or "Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine" page on the Admissions Office website.Starting in November 2026, UNamur will offer preparatory courses that allow you to: review the content of the subjects included in the exam syllabus;practice the multiple-choice questions required for the entrance exam;get a feel for the exam experience.
