Mohamed Chellegui (University of Sfax) and Yathreb Naghmouchi (University of Carthage), PhD students of Tunisian origin, have just completed their research stays at the Laboratory of Theoretical Chemistry of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Namur (NISM Institute) under the supervision of Professor Benoît Champagne. The subject: understanding the microscopic mechanisms that lead to the initialisation, reading and erasing of molecular qubits, a new theme in the study of materials, at the frontier between physics and chemistry.
