In the summer 2022, we met Vincent Jacquet, a qualified researcher from UNamur, to obtain his FNRS qualified researcher mandate. Today, we meet him after the signature of an ERC Starting Grant for his project CITIZEN_IMPACT.

Within the SPACE pole of the naXys Institute, researchers are interested in the evolution of planetary systems at different scales: space debris, natural and artificial satellites, asteroids, (exo)planets, etc. As part of the JUICE mission, post-doctoral researcher Alexis Coyette and Professor Anne-Sophie Libert are interested in Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons, and are seeking to model its internal composition and rotation. It is believed that this satellite has a global ocean of liquid water beneath its surface. The study of its rotation will provide more information about this ocean and thus the potential habitability of this satellite.

Congratulations to Carla Coduti and Matteo Ghislain who respectively received the public and jury prizes in the International Humanitarian Law mock trial! This very special exercise demonstrates the active pedagogical approach dear to the UNamur Faculty of Law.

The FUCID (Forum universitaire pour la coopération internationale au développement) is above all a story of awareness, commitment, and militancy in the face of the societal challenges we must face to achieve a more just and united world. As an NGO within UNamur, its main role is to raise awareness and mobilise the members of the Namur campus, with a focus on students, in relation to global issues (migration, climate, women's rights etc.) through a series of activities.
