Preparing for the 2024 medical entrance exam: Winter session

This session aims to review all scientific subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and to prepare for the "Communication and critical analysis of information" part. For each scientific discipline, a complete syllabus is provided at the beginning of the session. For the second part, documents are available on the platform. The courses are built in two stages. First, a reminder of the theoretical elements that you will have been invited to review the week before the session, and then numerous exercises in the form of MCQs corrected and commented on by the teachers that enable you to acquire speed of execution and in-depth reflection. The session can be takenin person (750 places maximum)or remotely (live or replay) Independent on the choice you make to take this training course, you will have access to the distance learning platform. A wealth of content and tools (videos, tests, forum...) will enable you to see or review different parts of the subjects on your own, practice and prepare for the hours of face-to-face (or live distance) lessons to make the most of them. This session comprises 98 hours of lessons.26 h physics24 h chemistry20 h mathematics16 h biology12 h communication and critical analysis of information ScheduleNovember 4, November 18, November 25, December 2, December 9, January 27, February 3, February 10, February 17, February 24, March 16, March 23 March 30, April 13, April 20, April 27 and May 18.Organization of distance learning coursesFor all students, whether enrolled face-to-face or by distance learning, courses can all be taken on the "UNamur - Formations" platform. The courses will be recorded and will remain available until the day of the competition. On this platform all syllabi will be available in PDF version. Other course materials may be deposited there by teachers and all pedagogical communications will be transmitted to you via this platform.Do you have any questions or difficulties with this platform? Consult the FAQ Information sessionOn Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm, an information session on the program and the methodology implemented for the different disciplines will be organized in person (at the Vauban amphitheater) and remotely (the link to attend this session live will be available on this page). Syllabuses will be available at this session, and from then on will be available at Info études during opening hours. They will also be distributed on the first Saturday of class at the auditorium entrance. These two subjects also provide an opportunity to review a few mathematical tools (trigonometry and derivative of a function) essential for tackling a physics course.
