QUALIblood develops a blood test to assess a woman's eligibility for the contraceptive pill
A team from QUALIblood, a University of Namur spin-off and the Department of Pharmacy has developed a blood test that assesses the risk of developing thrombosis. It is specifically aimed at women wishing to take a contraceptive pill or hormone treatment for the menopause. The Teddy Bear Clinic: pharma students demystify the medical world for children
On their own initiative, five masters’ students from the UNamur pharmacy department slipped into the shoes of 'Teddybearologists' as part of the 'Teddy Bear Clinic', an event organised by UCLouvain. They played the role of pharmacists, recommending treatments for children's teddy bears and explaining the role of their future profession.
