UNamur offers five certificates and two programs in the field of health. It participates in six certificate programs coordinated by other institutions.

Biology is the science of life.  From the cell to the ecosystem, it studies all forms of life. It is essential for understanding complex societal issues related to the environment, health, and sustainable development. 

Physics: An Adventure of the Mind. From the infinitely small to the infinitely large, from elementary particles to galaxies, are you eager to understand the why and how of the natural phenomena you observe?  Why is the sky blue? How does an airplane take off? How does radiation therapy work? What are the effects of global warming? How can nanotechnology revolutionize telecommunications? How can we produce energy without depleting the planet?Physics answers all your questions. 

Cross-disciplinary training sessions and awareness-raising activities are organized throughout the academic year. 

Procedure for Paying Tuition Certain international students who are nationals of a country outside the European Union (or treated as such) and who have been enrolled at UNamur for more than one year must pay tuition fees of either €5,369 or €3,582.The International Student Commission may grant, based on criteria it has established, full or partial financial assistance—either direct or conditional—toward the payment of tuition (a deduction of €1,194 from the base tuition fee) for students affected by these provisions.Application forms may be picked up at the Social Services Office during office hours from September 29 at the earliest through October 21 at the latest. Registration Fees Financial Assistance for the Purchase of a Computer For eligible students, this program covers a portion of the costs associated with purchasing a computer (new or refurbished). The application form for this financial assistance will be available for download or can be picked up at the Social Services Office starting September 15, 2026. Financial Assistance for Tuition and Living Expenses (excluding the additional contribution) To obtain a residence permit to study in Belgium, all international students must provide proof of financial independence (for example, financial support from a guarantor or a blocked bank deposit).However, if financial difficulties arise during their studies, students can contact the Student Social Services Office:either by email: sse@unamur.beeither by phone at 081/72 50 85or during office hours or by appointmentto explain their situation and, if they meet the eligibility requirements, obtain the financial aid application form. The Special “Exams” Allowance The Social Services Office may grant a student who works regularly to cover some or all of their educational expenses a special “exam” allowance to enable them to devote more time to their exam period. The application form will be available at the Social Services Office starting November 2 at the earliest. The “La Solidarithèque” community grocery store The Solidarithèque is a community grocery store whose goal is to support college students facing financial difficulties. It was created and is managed by the social services departments of UNamur, HEAJ, HEPN, HENALLUX, and IMEP in partnership with the Association for Student Solidarity in Belgium (ASEB).
