Doctorate in legal sciences
The Ph.D. program in legal sciences at the University of Namur is aligned with the Faculty of Law’s recognized research areas. Doctoral students develop an original research project within a dynamic academic environment, under the guidance of experienced researchers and as part of the Faculty’s research centers.The completion of a dissertation is based on a shared commitment between the doctoral student, their advisor, and the Faculty, in accordance with the Code of Ethics adopted in 2003.

At UNamur, the Bachelor in Law with aminor in Management allows you to develop a hybrid profile at the intersection of law, management, and business economics.Alongside your Bachelor in Law, you’ll take targeted management courses at the EMCP Faculty (Economics, Management, Communication, and Political Science). Upon completing this three-year program, you’ll gain direct admission to the 120- or 60-credit Master’s in Management Sciences at UNamur, in addition to admission to the 120-credit Master’s in Law. Are you interested in understanding legal principles while gaining a deeper understanding of how political institutions and contemporary societies function? The Bachelor in Law with a minor in Political Science at the University of Namur allows you to combine a comprehensive legal education with an integrated and complementary program in political science.As part of your Bachelor of Law program, you will take courses in political science, international relations, and public governance. Only one or two additional courses are added to your annual curriculum. Upon completion of this track, you will have direct access to the Master’s in Political Science at UCLouvain, in addition to access to the Master’s in Law.
