Tutorials supervised by the assistant are organised throughout the year.


Office hours are also available to students.

Teaching methods

Oral presentation during which students are encouraged to participate actively, and optional oral presentation of reading texts.


Students must bring the document collection to all classes, which includes European treaties (European Union and Functioning of the European Union).

Assessment method

Three-hour written examination comprising multiple-choice questions, a comprehension question, an application question and a question related to reading texts and current European affairs.


Importance of knowing how to use European treaties and the collection of documents effectively, of having a proper understanding of the European legal system and of developing a critical approach and personal opinion.
