Grégoire Wieërs. Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences 3pm - auditorium PA01 (Pedro Arrupe) : Information session for students of the 1st Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences by the pedagogical coordinator in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mr. Romain Siriez. Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences 3pm - auditorium PA02 (Pedro Arrupe) : Information session for students of the 1st Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences by the Department Director in Biomedical Sciences, Prof. Jean-Pierre Gillet. Attendance at these sessions is compulsory. A student guide will be available on the Bureau Virtuel de l'Etudiant (BVE). From (date to be confirmed), classes resume according to a specific timetable (the 1st quadrimester timetable will be posted at the valves on September 9). MSFE (Master of Specialization in Teacher Training)
September 16, 2025Welcome session: from 18h10 to 19h10, at B&LC, salle MEUSE, rue Godefroid, 5 - 5000 Namur. All those interested in the program, in the process of registering or already registered are welcome to attend. The MSFE is a 60-credit program, offered on a staggered schedule, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays (in the evening) and Saturdays all day. This master's degree of specialization is aimed in particular at future (or current) instructors at Hautes Écoles and Écoles Supérieures des Arts, in charge of UEs linked to didactics, pedagogy and training to and through practice in the master's programs in teaching sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, who will need to have this diploma within six years of first appointment to a position for which this master's degree is required. The Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Research Unit (URPC)
The main mission of the Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Research Unit (URPC) is to conduct studies and research aimed at evaluating the efficacy, safety and clinical impact of drugs, treatments and medical interventions. It brings together players from different departments of the Faculty of Medicine working on similar themes.

New training courses and pedagogical innovations in 2024 at UNamur
Two new Master's degree specializations are on offer from the start of the new academic year. One will provide training in general medicine, the other in the management and economics of sustainable development. Other pedagogical innovations in existing course programs are also proposed, including a course designed to train block students in the challenges of Artificial Intelligence and develop their critical thinking skills to use AI in a relevant way. Through these innovations and new features, UNamur is demonstrating its ability to constantly adapt its educational offering in response to changes in society.

"One Health" | Training for a holistic approach to health

Training tomorrow's doctors: a look back at the work of ASBL PAH
As part of the practical work (TP) in medical psychology at the University of Namur's Faculty of Medicine, a landmark intervention took place. A pair, comprising Dominique Damas, expert patient and active member of the ASBL PAH (Plateforme Annonce Handicap), and Dr. Latteur, physician, came to share their experience on a subject as delicate as it is essential: the announcement of bad news or serious diagnoses to patients.
