To raise the awareness of future doctors to the issue of domestic violence, particularly during pregnancy, which is a riskier situation: this is the programme of the next practical work on "professional communication in health" in the medical psychology course, taught to the UNamur 3rd year of bachelor’s degree in medicine students. This awareness-raising is done in the form of an escape game "Do you dare to ask the question", designed by two midwife teachers from the Hénallux paramedical department. This is a unique educational initiative and a first-time collaboration aimed at future doctors in Wallonia.

On their own initiative, five masters’ students from the UNamur pharmacy department slipped into the shoes of 'Teddybearologists' as part of the 'Teddy Bear Clinic', an event organised by UCLouvain. His missions: to bring philosophy as a living practice to the heart of his institution's day-to-day operations, and to support workers in their quest for meaning in their work.

Two new Master's degree specializations are on offer from the start of the new academic year. One will provide training in general medicine, the other in the management and economics of sustainable development. Other pedagogical innovations in existing course programs are also proposed, including a course designed to train block students in the challenges of Artificial Intelligence and develop their critical thinking skills to use AI in a relevant way. Through these innovations and new features, UNamur is demonstrating its ability to constantly adapt its educational offering in response to changes in society.
