Since 2022, the School of Law has chosen an annual theme that brings together the entire School—students and faculty alike—across all tracks and programs. This overarching theme is incorporated into courses, mentoring sessions, assignments, public speaking competitions, conferences, and educational and cultural activities offered throughout the academic year. This inspiring and values-driven approach continues to make the educational experience at the University of Namur even more unique. Thus, in 2022–2023, we focused on CHILDHOOD & MIGRATION; in 2023–2024, we focused on HARASSMENT in all its forms; in 2024–2025, on INCLUSION, with the goal of enabling everyone to find their place in society regardless of race, gender, social class, generation, ability, romantic and/or sexual orientation, and in 2025–2026, we focused on the environmental pillar of sustainable development, with the slogan “LET’S RE-ENCHANT THE EARTH!”

Affiliation with one or more research institutes is voluntary and renewable annually.

To help you test your knowledge of the various subjects and get a feel for the actual exam, UNamur invites you to participate in mock exams on Saturday, May 30, 2026, and/or Friday, July 10, 2026.This mock exam has been designed by faculty members who are thoroughly familiar with the types of questions asked in the actual admissions exam. However, this does not mean that this mock exam will be an exact representation of the 2026 admissions exam!This mock exam allows you to: to experience the exam under conditions similar to those in Brussels in August 2026;to assess your progress in preparation a few months or weeks before the exam date. This mock exam goes beyond simply taking the test. Through a group review session with the teachers, you’ll be able to identify your mistakes and see your success rate for each question.

The research landscape at the University of Namur currently comprises 11 Institutes. They bring together and cross-fertilize diverse skills around a global theme. This dynamic encourages transdisciplinary collaborations and original approaches in both research and teaching.

The aim of the University of Namur's sports project is to encourage students to develop and perfect their skills in one or more disciplines. More than twenty sports are organized from Monday to Friday on campus and in the surrounding area. A wide variety of sports are on offer. A fitness room is also available.
