The aims of the workshop are:
(1) Explore recent advances: to present and discuss the latest discoveries and innovations in dermatological research.
(2) Strengthen research skills: to provide practical and theoretical sessions to improve participants' skills in research methodology, data analysis, and presentation.
(3) Fostering collaboration: to create a space for dialogue and exchange between researchers to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.
(4) Clinical application: to discuss the clinical implications of current and future research, and how it can be integrated into dermatological practice to improve patient care.
(5) Work presentation: to give participants the opportunity to present the results of their tutored work, notably from the course “A Case Study of Clinical Trials” (MSBMM232), in front of a panel of academic experts. This exercise aims not only to assess their understanding and analytical skills, but also to strengthen their ability to communicate scientific results effectively.
Seminars are given by a wide panel of experts in the field of dermatology.
Part of the time will be reserved to the presentations by students on their Case Study.
Seminars and flipped classroom
The evaluation of this course consists of an oral presentation of the work carried out during the tutored course “A Case Study of Clinical Trials” (MSBMM232) in front of key academic staff. It is important to note that MSBMM230 and MSBMM232 are two distinct teaching units.
