Accommodation, food, campus life... All the practical information you need to organize your preparatory courses at the University of Namur can be found on this page.

Housing

Only students who have reserved accommodation in a university residence for the 2026-2027 academic year are eligible for a room during the preparatory course period.

Reservations for these rooms must be made before July 31 by completing the relevant section of the preparatory course registration form. After this date, requests will no longer be accepted.

Starting July 20, the housing department will send an email confirming the reservation request and explaining the payment terms for the accommodation rental. Please note that the reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

For other students, in most cases, rental for the preparatory course period can be negotiated with the owner.

Meals

Lunch can be enjoyed between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the UNamur university restaurant: l’Arsenal (Rue Bruno, 11).

Lunch can be taken from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the UNamur university restaurant: L'Arsenal (Rue Bruno, 11).

The Snack Bar (ground floor): hot snacks, salads, sandwiches, soup, desserts, and drinks.

The Self-service (1st floor)

  • Soup
  • Cold dish of the day and chef's special, salad bar
  • Market dish, daily special and vegetarian option
  • Meatballs in tomato sauce and Liège sauce, pasta, vol-au-vent, lasagna
  • Desserts and drinks
