By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Oral communication in everyday contexts

  • Interact confidently in simple conversations related to daily life.
  • Take an active part in informal discussions, adapting their register of language according to the interlocutor.


Oral communication in professional contexts

  • Manage frequent professional situations effectively.
  • Defend their point of view or explain a professional choice using clear and structured arguments.


Tools for professional integration

  • Write a CV and a cover letter adapted to the targeted professional context.
  • Actively participate in a job interview, highlighting their background, skills, and motivation.


Intercultural competences

  • Identify and compare key cultural, social, and professional characteristics of Dutch-speaking countries.


Learning and interaction strategies

  • Use communication strategies (paraphrasing, reformulating, asking for clarification) to overcome linguistic gaps.
  • Reactivate and mobilize grammatical and lexical knowledge to improve oral fluency and self-confidence.


Goals

The aim of the course is to prepare students for communication in the professional world.

Content

Basic knowledge (vocabulary, grammar, etc.) will be perfected with communicative skills (oral and written expression, reading, listening) relating to the professional world.
