Why did you choose to study at UNamur?

As an international student, I researched Belgian universities that I could attend after graduating from high school, and UNamur was one of the options available to me. After discovering the city and learning about the university's ranking among institutions worldwide, I naturally chose Namur: I wanted to start my studies there.

Why did you choose this field of study?

My choice to study computer science was a well-considered one. During my school years, I had already taken several aptitude tests that confirmed that this was the right path for me. It is also a promising field, both academically and professionally.

What do you like about your study program?

What I particularly like about my program is the balance between theory and practice. Group projects based on real-life cases teach us how to collaborate effectively and show that, contrary to popular belief, computer scientists don't work alone! It's a very human program that really prepares you for the professional world.

Why did you want to become a student ambassador?

I am proud to belong to a renowned university that offers real opportunities for personal development. I always feel a sense of pride when I talk about UNamur to those around me or introduce it to others.

It was this sense of belonging that made me want to join the student ambassador team. When I saw the ad, I saw it as a great opportunity to represent the university, help other students find their way, and share my experience. In addition to being enriching and rewarding for my career, this mission is a real exchange: it gives me as much as it allows me to pass on.

How did your studies shape your project?

My studies at UNamur enabled me to acquire practical IT skills and better prepare myself for the job market. They also taught me how to organize myself better, work in a team, and take on more responsibility.

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

I would advise him to attend all classes, keep up to date with his work, and participate actively during sessions. Working regularly at home is also essential for progress and success.

In a nutshell, studying at UNamur means...

An enriching, educational, and motivating experience.
