Founded in 1970, the Faculty was a pioneer in university-level computer science education in Europe.
Today, it has about twenty professors and some sixty teaching assistants and researchers. Each year, it trains more than 500 students. These graduates—who are always highly sought after in the job market—hold key positions in many public and private companies.
