Bibliographical sketch:

Maha RZEIGUI received her master’s degree in Computer Chemistry, Spectrometry, Analysis from the Université d’Aix Marseille in 2014, studying the purification, synthesis, oxidation, and physicochemical characterization of charybdotoxin, peptide isolated from the venom Leiurus Quinquestriatus Hebraeus of scorpion.

She then started her doctoral studies in 2016, under the supervision of Pr. Claude Taillefumier and Pr. Jameleddine Khiari, at the Institut de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF), at the University of Clermont-Auvergne (France). This thesis is entitled “Synthesis and structural studies of new peptoids and their conjugates with metallophthalocyanines”. Her PhD research focused on the field of peptoids (N-substituted glycine oligomers), a classe of peptidomimetics, and their conjugation with phtalocyanins.

Since May 2021, she started a post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Chimie Bio-Organique (CBO) under the supervision of Pr. Stéphane Vincent at the Université de Namur
