Bibliographical sketch:
Loïc CHENE received his Master degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the Université de Rouen (Normandy University) in 2016. He then started his doctorate as an assistant professor in the laboratory of Stéphane VINCENT (UCO, CBO unit). His PhD work is divide in two parts, the first one is focused on bio-organic chemistry and mainly the synthesis of sugar derivatives for the charaterization of b-D-Galactosyl-Hydrolases. In parallel, he is working as an enzymologist and is carrying out all the biological tests of the laboratory (enzyme overexpression, fluorescence polarization, HPLC test, IC50,…).
As an assistant professor he is teaching general chemistry and organic chemistry to different level students (Bachelor’s, Master’s).
