Bibliographical sketch:

Elsa TUFENKJIAN obtained a master degree majoring in catalysis, molecule and green chemistry from the University of Rennes 1 in 2015. Her master thesis was supervised by Dr. Lucie Norel and Pr. Stephane Rigaut focusing on the synthesis of luminescent and magnetic switches based on redox active ruthenium acetylide complexes or photochromic binolate lanthanide complexes. After obtaining the excellence initiatives scholarship (IdEx), she joined the International PhD Program (PDI) of the University of Strasbourg. In December 2018, she completed her PhD thesis in the lab of Molecular Tectonics under the supervision of Pr. Mir Wais Hosseini and Pr. Veronique Bulach. Her PhD thesis dealt with molecular tectonics based on porphyrin, dipyrrins, pyridines and terpyridines bearing nucleobases. Elsa is currently continuing her postdoctoral research in the University of Namur in the CBO lab (Laboratoire de chimie organique et bio-organique) under the supervision for Pr. Stéphane Vincent focusing the synthesis of novel nickel pincer cofactor, biosynthetic precursors and analogues.
