Researcher

Bibliographical sketch :

Emilie obtained her Ph. D. thesis in December 2021 from Paris-Saclay University (Orsay, France) under the direction of Prof. Dominique Guianvarc’h and Dr. Yann Bourdreux in SM2ViE group at the Institut de Chimie Moléculaire et des Matériaux d’Orsay (ICMMO). She worked on “Trehalose monomycolate bioorthogonal chemical reporters for the study of mycomembrane in mycobacteria”.

In January 2022, she started a post-doctoral position in the Service de Chimie Bioorganique et de Marquage (SCBM) at the CEA Saclay (France) under the supervision of Dr. Frédéric Taran. This research project concerned “Bioorthogonal Antidotes for Safer Immuno PET and ImmunoRadiotherapies”.

Since January 2024, she joined the group of Prof. Stéphane Vincent in the laboratory of Chimie Bio-Organique (CBO) at Namur University (Belgium). She works on “Multivalent 9-O-Acetylated-sialic acid glycoclusters as potent inhibitors for SARS-CoV-2 infection”.
