Space research at university

Space research at the University of Namur is actively involved in space-related research across several disciplines: physics and mathematics to study space debris, computer science to analyse data and develop artificial intelligence, and humanities and social sciences to reflect on the ethical, legal and societal issues related to space exploration.

‘From Namur to Space’

This public lecture in French, organised by Confluent des Savoirs, took place on 17 October 2022 at the University of Namur in the presence of Dirk Frimout as part of Belgian Space Week 2022.

‘Space, the final frontier, to which university researchers travel. Their mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new knowledge, and to boldly go where no one has gone before... The mission of our teams of scientists during the conference: to show you what space research has to offer.’
