The online preprogramme will thoroughly prepare you for the in-person job fair, to be organised on Thursday 23 March 2023 (12 PM – 6 PM) at Flanders Expo Ghent. The Job Market for Young Researchers is a great place to engage with many different PhD employers at once, network with people in and beyond your industry, and become more aware of what talents and competencies are valued in a PhD employee. Extra labour market oriented workshops will be offered onsite. What to do next? 1. Register for participation in the Job Market, log in, and book appointments for CV analysis and speed career coaching. 2. Browse through our offer of Career Lunches and meet PhD employers online. Participation is free of charge, but registration for the separate lunches is compulsory. 3. Create or update your profile on the PhD Talent Pool. In the run-up to the in-person Job Market participating companies and organisations will be posting their vacancies on The Pool, the career platform par excellence for PhDs and postdocs in Flanders (and beyond). Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact dr. Katrien Daemen-de Gelder. Warm regards
