Flash talks and poster session

The presentation of flash talks and posters is only opened to the PhD students. By their poster, each participant have to present their thesis research or one topics of their thesis research. This presentation will be split in two times.

1. A flash talk

As a teaser of their posters, PhD students will have 3 minutes to present orally their research to the jury, to the other participants and to the public.

A jury compounds of members of the Research Support Unit (UAR) of the Faculty of Sciences will establish a selection of the best talk.

The winner will receive a cheque of hundred euros.

2. A poster presentation

During the session, PhD students will have the opportunity to present orally their poster to the jury, to the other participants and to the public.

The jury compounds of speakers of the morning session will establish a selection on basis of the following criterias: general presentation, clarity, scientific content, scientific approach.

The winner will receive a museum pass.

Posters should be placed during the whole day of the event from 8:30 to 18:00. In case you are unable to place it by yourself in due time, you can charge a colleague or ask to Jean-Paul Leonis to place it for you.

The printing of the poster will be at the charge of your lab/department/research project. The size of the poster must be A0.
