Oumayma BEN ROMDHANE obtained her Bachelor Degree in Fundamental Chemistry in 2019 and her Master Degree in Synthesis and Reactivity in Organic Chemistry in 2021 at the Faculty of Sciences of Monastir FSM (Tunisia). During her internship in a lab working on heterocyclic chemistry, natural products and reactivity, she works on the extraction, characterization and valorisation of natural products.

In 2023, she joins the RCO group as an Assistant for Prof. Guillaume Berionnie where she teaches organic chemistry and general chemistry. Her research project concerns the synthesis and nuclephelicity of a series of alcynes as well as their reactivity with carbenium ions.
