Sayandip is a MS student graduated from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata (INDIA) in 2022.

From 2020 to 2022 he worked on – (De)hydrogenation reaction catalyzed by ruthenium complexes towards the synthesis of β-alkylated secondary alcohols at IISER Kolkata and received a Master’s degree in Chemical sciences from the same university. In November 2022, he moved to University of Namur (Belgium) as a PhD student in the group of Prof. Guillaume Berionni.

His PhD project is dealing with the synthesis of new geometrically constrained phosphorus ligands along with their metal complexes and their application in catalytic reaction as well as application in molecular machines chemistry.
