Booking of an accommodation


If you wish to book an accommodation on the university campus, you have to tick the appropriate box in the application form. We will then consider your request for a student room on campus. Attention, the number of available housing is limited. Applications will be treated in the order of arrival. If we are not able to offer you a room, we will inform you about other housing opportunities outside of the UNamur campus.

The student rooms are normally located in a "kot-a-projet (KAP)". A KAP is a shared living arrangement in a house, hallway or floor composed of 6-18 students who, while living together with shared bathrooms and kitchens, but individual rooms, are carrying out a project under a certain theme. Such a project may involve organizing activities for other students as well as nearby residents and their children. Each kot to project specializes in a specific field, for example relating to culture, humanitarian or social assistance, sports, or the protection of the environment. The monthly rent for a room in a KAP in 2015/16 is about 270 Euros plus utilities.

The University of Namur is a partner of, the international student-to-student housing platform. Students who are coming from abroad to Namur can find & book a student room on The rooms on this platform are offered by our students that go abroad for a study abroad semester, exchange,or internship. Using the platform itself is completely free for you as a student; when you make a concrete booking an administrative fee will be charged as a part of Housing Anywhere’s secure booking system.
