Learning outcomes

The course gives the opportunity to the students to go further and in a personal way in a specific application of dynamical systems, e.g., biology, astronomy, space research, physics, etc.

Goals

The goal is to gain an overview of the various chaos indicators and equip students with the necessary tools to characterize and analyze a dynamic system, whether a map or a flow, and to learn how to select the most appropriate ones for solving a specific problem.

Content

Analysis of maps and flows. Numerical integration, Chaos indicators, Frequency maps, Hamiltonian dynamics, Classical and specific models, Fields of application.
